The rules of golf can be quite extensive and this meets certain guidelines and rules that most regulations on sports does not have. One rule that has the golf that most sports do not have are the definitions that are badly needed to know them to be on the field.

Any of these words used are:

- Green: This is the ground of the hole being played.

- Honor is the side that has the right to play first.

- Putt Line: This is the line where the player takes the ball after the green.

- Observer: a person appointed by the committee, this post is to assist the referee in the correction of rules.

- Tour: this is all except the green field, obstacles and place of departure.

These words should be used properly within the field of play but it will be breaking the rules.

The general principle of golf is like playing the ball to rest, play the field as it is and if not so, then what is more fair. But when faced with a situation where you can not play the ball as lies, or as the field is to do what is just necessary to apply the Rules of Golf, and to implement necessary prior knowledge. Golf is a game that most of the time it is played without the supervision of a referee, so the player is responsible for their own behavior. Here we review the various situations that we can find on the golf course:

Embedded ball
