That’s what happened at Shady Canyon Golf Course in California The mishap occurred last weekend when an anonymous golfer with their swing sent the ball against a rock off the trail. This fault has not had major consequences if not for the impact caused a spark and it caused a flame that will eventually spread over 25 hectares, according to Steven Buck, general manager of the golf course.
The heat wave that was suffering the area, Irvine, meant that conditions were suitable for any minimal impact caused the fire. The manager confirmed that field work for fire fighting efforts were required 150 firefighters in Orange County.
The golfer’s name has not been revealed and they will not file charges against him, but nobody could prevent hard time seeing how the fire grew until it became uncontrollable.
